Damn that was close
So, our computer has already gone through a period of weirdness. A few months ago a thick black line appeared on the right side of the screen and hid everything laying beneath it. They were like dead pixels. We took to Geek Squad at best buy and they fixed it. Tonight, while my cousin was on, the black line appeared again. She told me that when they had taken the computer to best buy the first time and the people plugged in the monitor the black line was gone. I never knew that piece of information. A few minutes ago in a moment of worry and fury, I unplugged every plug for the computer and then replaced them. Now, the screen is a-ok. I don't know what happened but I seem to have a knack for finding ways to fix things. Our internet connection box for example was prone to long bouts of disconnection. One day I actually discovered a very tiny hole with the reset button in it. Pressing that alone does not fix anything though. I also discovered that if I unscrew the coaxial cable from the box, press the reset button, and then re-screw the cable the connection will reestablish every single time. I feel happy and VERY relieved now. The fear of having to tell my mother that our old problem was back and that we would maybe have to take it up for repair AGAIN was scaring me witless. I still need something for the registry though...Erg. The computer boy's work is never done.

There were also some weird lines where whatever was behind them looked blurry, but I fixed that too by just doing the auto-correct thingy. Yay me! :D
